On April 4, 2024, HTAPC, in partnership with Thammasat University, Lampang Campus, organized an international academic seminar titled “PM2.5 Opportunities and Challenges in Southeast Asia.” The seminar aimed to share academic research, knowledge, and promote academic collaborations on a national and international scale.
Dr. Wiparat Deeong, Executive Director of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreeya Kaewla-iad, Vice Rector for Lampang Campus Administration and Law at Thammasat University, delivered the opening remarks, extending a warm welcome to participants. Dr. Supat Wangwongwatana, Director of HTAPC, highlighted past initiatives addressing the PM2.5 concern in Thailand, emphasizing HTAPC’s core mission. HTAPC acts as a central hub connecting air pollution and climate experts nationally and globally, facilitating the exchange of information, knowledge, perspectives, and experiences. Its primary objective is to build a community of experts dedicated to addressing air pollution and climate challenges at local, regional, and global levels.
