A Seminar on “Addressing PM2.5 – Related Health Concernsthrough Research and Innovation”

On November 30th, 2023, HTAPC organized a seminar on “Addressing PM2.5-Related Health Concerns through Research and Innovation”. Dr.Supat Wangwongwatana, the Director of HTAPC, delivered a welcoming speech, joined by experts, academics, and professionals at Meeting Room 1, Health Impact Assessment Division, Department of Health. The event also included participants attending online via MS Teams and was broadcast live on Facebook.

Dr. Supat Wangwongwatana led the discussion with the aim of proposing guidelines for preparing a health response to PM2.5 through collaborative research and innovation. The goal is to provide information to the public for heightened awareness, guiding them on how to cope with situations when PM2.5 levels increase. This includes recommendation that appropriate for managing PM2.5, ultimately addressing the issue effectively.
