Panel discussion: Lessons learned on addressing airpollution challenges across various sectors inThailand – past, present, and future

On April 10, 2024, HTAPC and CCAS (Center for Clean Air Solutions) collaborated to host a panel discussion focusing on insights and experiences in addressing air pollution issues across sectors, drawing from past lessons, current practices, and future challenges. The seminar, held at Asawin Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, allowed for virtual participation through Zoom Meeting and Facebook Live.

Dr. Supat Wangwongwatana, Director of HTAPC, and Mr. Paisit Panitchkul, Director of CCAS, delivered opening remarks, welcoming participants to the conference. The event featured 14 speakers from diverse sectors, each with significant expertise in addressing air pollution challenges in Thailand. The morning session centered on “A journey of improving air quality in the present,” while the afternoon session explored strategies for enhancing air quality in the future.

A question and answer session provided a platform for participants to share perspectives, leading to a comprehensive summary of the key outcomes from the meeting.
